In the first quarter of this year, a total of 65 new electrochemical energy storage power stations were added to 19 member units of my country's Electricity Security Committee, with a total power of 2.94GW and a total energy of 6.40GWh. Among them, the application scenarios of new energy distribution and independent energy storage account for 92%, and the regional distribution is mainly concentrated in Xinjiang, Guangdong, Inner Mongolia, Henan and Hebei, with the proportion of new power reaching 66%. By the end of the first quarter, a total of 1023 power stations had been put into operation, with a total power of 27.94GW and a total energy of 57.27GWh. The operation of electrochemical energy storage power stations has also improved significantly. The average daily operating hours have increased from 3.12 to 4.16, the average utilization index has increased from 27% to 41%, and the average daily equivalent number of charges and discharges has also increased from 0.44 to 0.63. The average daily equivalent charge and discharge times of electrochemical energy storage in the eight provinces of Chongqing, Anhui, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Guizhou, Hubei, Ningxia and Qinghai exceed the national average. In the first quarter, the electrochemical energy storage charge capacity was 1889GWh, the discharge power was 1681GWh, and the average conversion efficiency was 89%. In addition, the off-grid electricity is 1034GWh, the morning electricity is 857GWh, and the average comprehensive efficiency is 83%. In the first quarter, the overall safe operation of the electrochemical energy storage power station was good, with an availability factor of 0.98. The number of planned outages was 396, with an average planned outage duration of 66 hours; there were 263 unplanned outages, with an average unplanned outage duration of 59 hours. The number of unplanned outages of key equipment and systems in the power station accounted for 70%.
